This machine incorporates the
use of a gantry to elevate machine operators in a suitable ergonomic
position. The gantry easily splits for the removal of the knitted roll
from the takedown once complete. The rolls are knitted on a parallel
aluminium centre tube for easy removal and replacement thus diminishing
downtime. Bobbins can be mounted overhead or on the perimeter of the
gantry for easier replenishment, and wire run detection at both ends of
each feed.
A WT500 knitting head with eight feeds
and heavy duty needle detection.

WT500 takedown assembly - the
knitted mesh is precisely
wound on to an aluminium centre by twin peripheral rollers,
keeping the mesh perfectly aligned by a system of rack and pinions.
