1. Floor or pallet located bobbins with heavy duty snatch detectors mounted above the
machine. This system is best suited for wire sizes above 0.15mm to 0.5mm diameter. It provides the best protection against faults in the knitted
fabric caused by the wire snagging, by providing a reserve of wire whilst the machine is halted.
2. Overhead mounting of the wire bobbins is most suitable when smaller bobbins are used. The wire package is contained within a circular steel cage to prevent the wire as it balloons from the package tangling with the adjacent package. The wire passes down through the centre of its own package through a wire motion detector on the
knit-head.
3. Positive feed only for wire sizes up to 0.15mm diameter. Best system for semi- precious metals and delicate wires. The system also incorporates several detectors to prevent fabric faults and
press-offs.
The takedown mechanism is infinitely variable over the knitting range.
An AC inverter drive system gives full control of running speed, acceleration, braking and crawl speed.
The machine is fully guarded with 10mm polycarbonate doors fitted with approved magnetic safety switches to EC standards.
A power supply of 200/240 volts, single phase, 50/60 Hz is required.
